Bald Head Lighthouse

Bald Head Lighthouse, commonly known as Old Baldy, stands on Bald Head Island at the mouth of the Cape Fear River in North Carolina. Completed in 1817, it is the oldest standing lighthouse in North Carolina and has guided mariners entering the river and nearby ports for more than two centuries.
