Caribou–Targhee National Forest

Caribou–Targhee National Forest protects nearly three million acres of rugged mountains, alpine lakes, dense forests, and expansive wilderness across southeastern Idaho and western Wyoming. Bordering both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, the forest encompasses some of the most scenic landscapes in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, including dramatic mountain ranges, wild rivers, and abundant wildlife habitat.
