Humboldt–Toiyabe National Forest
Humboldt–Toiyabe National Forest is the largest national forest in the contiguous United States, encompassing more than 6 million acres across Nevada and eastern California. Unlike most national forests, its lands are spread across numerous mountain ranges and isolated high-elevation landscapes within the Great Basin. From alpine lakes and aspen groves to rugged peaks and desert canyons, the forest protects an extraordinary diversity of ecosystems and provides extensive opportunities for hiking, camping, fishing, and backcountry exploration.
This vintage-inspired Humboldt–Toiyabe National Forest print celebrates the vast and varied landscapes of the Great Basin and the American West. Created in the spirit of classic WPA-era artwork, it captures the rugged mountain scenery, remote wilderness, and sense of solitude that define this remarkable forest. A perfect piece for hikers, campers, outdoor adventurers, and anyone drawn to the wide-open spaces of the West.
