Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse stands at the entrance to Jupiter Inlet on Florida's Atlantic coast. Completed in 1860, the striking red brick tower rises 108 feet above the surrounding landscape and has guided mariners through the waters of Jupiter Inlet and along Florida's southeastern shoreline for more than 165 years. Overlooking the Loxahatchee River, Intracoastal Waterway, and Atlantic Ocean, the lighthouse occupies a site rich in Native American, military, and maritime history. Today, it remains one of Florida's most recognizable and well-preserved historic landmarks.
