Kisatchie National Forest

Kisatchie National Forest spans more than 600,000 acres across central and northern Louisiana, protecting longleaf pine forests, sandstone hills, hardwood bottoms, and scenic streams. Established in 1930, it is Louisiana's only national forest and preserves a remarkable diversity of ecosystems across five ranger districts.
