Ladies Delight Lighthouse stands on Ladies Delight Island in Penobscot Bay near the town of Vinalhaven, Maine. First lit in 1908, the lighthouse was built to guide fishing vessels, schooners, and commercial traffic through the island-studded waters of Maine's Midcoast region. The station occupies a rugged granite island surrounded by tidal currents, rocky ledges, and the open waters of Penobscot Bay. Though smaller than many of Maine's famous coastal lights, it played an important role in helping mariners safely navigate one of the state's busiest maritime corridors.

This vintage-inspired Ladies Delight Lighthouse print celebrates one of Maine's lesser-known but historically significant coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's island setting, rocky shoreline, and enduring connection to Maine's maritime heritage. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, coastal travelers, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the quiet beauty and character of a beacon that has guided mariners through Penobscot Bay for more than a century.
