Liberty Cap
Liberty Cap is a prominent granite dome in Yosemite National Park that rises beside Nevada Fall along the Merced River. Reaching approximately 7,080 feet above sea level, the formation was sculpted by millions of years of uplift, erosion, and glacial activity that helped shape Yosemite Valley and the surrounding High Sierra. Its distinctive rounded profile stands near the junction of the Mist Trail and John Muir Trail, where visitors can view the dome from some of the park's most iconic vantage points. Together with nearby Nevada Fall and Vernal Fall, Liberty Cap forms part of one of Yosemite's most celebrated landscapes and serves as a striking example of the granite geology that defines the park.
This vintage-inspired Liberty Cap print celebrates one of Yosemite National Park's most recognizable granite formations through the bold design language of classic WPA-era travel posters. Towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and the rugged beauty of the Sierra Nevada are rendered in a timeless style that captures the character of Yosemite's legendary landscape. Created for hikers, climbers, national park enthusiasts, and collectors of America's public lands, this piece honors the geology, wilderness, and enduring appeal of one of the nation's most beloved parks.
