Montauk Point Lighthouse stands at the eastern tip of Long Island, New York, overlooking the meeting point of Block Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Commissioned by George Washington and completed in 1796, it is the oldest lighthouse in New York State and one of the oldest operating lighthouses in the United States. The tower was built to guide vessels through the busy maritime routes connecting New York Harbor with New England and the broader Atlantic coast. Today, it remains one of America's most recognizable and historically significant coastal landmarks.

This vintage-inspired Montauk Point Lighthouse print celebrates one of the nation's most iconic maritime beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's historic stone tower, dramatic bluff-top setting, and expansive ocean views. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, coastal travelers, and collectors of American landmarks, this piece captures the enduring character of a beacon that has safeguarded mariners at the eastern edge of Long Island for more than two centuries.

5% of every sale from our U.S. Lighthouses Collection is donated to organizations that support the preservation and protection of America's coastal landmarks and maritime heritage.
