Mount Tyndall rises to 14,025 feet in California's Sierra Nevada and stands along the Sierra Crest within the John Muir Wilderness of Inyo National Forest. Named for nineteenth-century physicist John Tyndall, the mountain is distinguished by its steep granite walls, rugged ridgelines, and commanding position overlooking the Owens Valley. Located just north of Mount Williamson and south of Mount Whitney, Mount Tyndall forms part of one of the highest and most dramatic sections of the High Sierra, where glacial forces have shaped a landscape of alpine basins, cirques, and exposed granite peaks.

This vintage-inspired Mount Tyndall print celebrates the rugged grandeur of California's High Sierra through the bold design language of classic WPA-era travel posters. Towering granite faces, alpine ridgelines, and sweeping mountain vistas are rendered in a timeless style that captures the scale and character of this iconic summit. Created for hikers, climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, and collectors of North America's great peaks, this piece honors the wilderness, geology, and mountaineering heritage that define the Sierra Nevada.
