Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse stands at Fort Constitution on New Castle Island, New Hampshire, overlooking the entrance to Portsmouth Harbor and the Piscataqua River. First established in 1771, it is one of the oldest lighthouse stations in the United States and has guided vessels into one of New England's most important harbors for more than 250 years. The current tower, completed in 1878, occupies a site rich in colonial, military, and maritime history. Today, it remains a prominent landmark along New Hampshire's short but historically significant coastline.

This vintage-inspired Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse print celebrates one of New England's oldest and most historic coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's elegant tower, harbor setting, and enduring connection to the maritime heritage of the Piscataqua region. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, coastal travelers, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the character of a beacon that has welcomed mariners to Portsmouth Harbor for generations.

5% of every sale from our U.S. Lighthouses Collection is donated to organizations that support the preservation and protection of America's coastal landmarks and maritime heritage.
