Race Point Lighthouse
Race Point Lighthouse stands at the northern tip of Cape Cod within the Cape Cod National Seashore near Provincetown, Massachusetts. First lit in 1816, the lighthouse was built to guide vessels around the hazardous shoals and strong currents of Race Point, where Cape Cod Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. The current tower, completed in 1876, overlooks expansive dunes, remote beaches, and one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in New England. Today, it remains an iconic symbol of Cape Cod's maritime heritage.
This vintage-inspired Race Point Lighthouse print celebrates one of New England's most storied coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's classic tower, windswept dunes, and expansive ocean setting. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, national seashore travelers, maritime historians, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the rugged beauty and enduring character of a beacon that has safeguarded mariners off the tip of Cape Cod for more than two centuries.
