Sankaty Head Lighthouse stands atop the high bluffs of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the island's eastern shore. Completed in 1850, the lighthouse was built to guide vessels past the dangerous shoals and shifting sandbars that surround Nantucket, one of the most challenging navigation areas on the East Coast. Its distinctive red-and-white tower has become one of the island's most recognizable landmarks. Relocated inland in 2007 to protect it from erosion, the lighthouse remains a powerful symbol of Nantucket's maritime heritage.

This vintage-inspired Sankaty Head Lighthouse print celebrates one of New England's most iconic coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's striking striped tower, dramatic bluff-top setting, and sweeping Atlantic views. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, island travelers, maritime historians, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the enduring beauty and character of a beacon that has safeguarded mariners off Nantucket for more than 175 years.
