Wayne National Forest
Wayne National Forest spans more than 240,000 acres across southeastern Ohio, protecting the rolling Appalachian foothills, hardwood forests, scenic streams, and rugged hills of the unglaciated Allegheny Plateau. Established in 1992, the forest was created to restore lands heavily impacted by decades of logging and mining. Today, its recovering ecosystems provide habitat for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, black bears, and numerous native bird species while offering exceptional opportunities for hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, and off-road recreation.
This vintage-inspired Wayne National Forest print celebrates the rolling woodlands and rugged landscapes of southeastern Ohio through the bold design language of classic WPA-era travel posters. Forested hills, winding streams, and peaceful backcountry scenery are rendered in a timeless style that captures the character of this remarkable forest. Created for hikers, campers, anglers, mountain bikers, wildlife enthusiasts, and collectors of America's public lands, this piece honors the recreation, ecology, and natural heritage that define Wayne National Forest.
