Boston Harbor Lighthouse

Boston Harbor Lighthouse stands on Little Brewster Island at the entrance to Boston Harbor, Massachusetts. First established in 1716, it was the first lighthouse built in what would become the United States and has guided vessels into one of the nation's most important ports for more than three centuries. The current tower, completed in 1783 following the destruction of the original lighthouse during the Revolutionary War, overlooks the islands and shipping channels of Boston Harbor.
