Castner Range
Castner Range National Monument protects approximately 6,700 acres of desert mountains, grasslands, and rugged canyons along the eastern edge of El Paso, Texas. Long closed to the public as a military training area, the landscape remained largely undeveloped for decades, allowing native ecosystems to flourish. The monument preserves important Chihuahuan Desert habitat, significant cultural and archaeological resources, and seasonal displays of vibrant wildflowers that blanket portions of the Franklin Mountains each spring.
This vintage-inspired landscape edition captures the beauty and resilience that define Castner Range National Monument. Designed in a modern WPA-inspired style, each print celebrates the remarkable landscapes that continue to inspire hikers, photographers, naturalists, and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the American Southwest. Whether you've admired the monument's desert scenery, witnessed its famous wildflower blooms, or simply appreciate the unique landscapes of West Texas, this piece honors one of the nation's newest protected treasures.
