East Point Lighthouse
East Point Lighthouse stands at the mouth of the Maurice River near Heislerville, New Jersey, overlooking the Delaware Bay. Completed in 1849, the lighthouse was built to guide vessels navigating the bay's busy shipping lanes and the approaches to the Delaware River. Positioned along an important migratory bird corridor and surrounded by extensive coastal marshes, the lighthouse occupies a landscape shaped by both maritime commerce and natural history. Today, it remains one of New Jersey's oldest surviving lighthouses and a treasured landmark on the Delaware Bayshore.
This vintage-inspired East Point Lighthouse print celebrates one of New Jersey's most historic coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's distinctive architecture, marshland setting, and sweeping views across Delaware Bay. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, birdwatchers, maritime historians, and collectors of American landmarks, this piece captures the enduring character of a beacon that has guided mariners along New Jersey's southern coast for more than 175 years.
