Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse stands at the entrance to Point Judith Harbor of Refuge in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Completed in 1890, the granite lighthouse was built on a breakwater to guide vessels seeking shelter from storms along the often treacherous waters of the Rhode Island coast. The harbor was created as a safe refuge for commercial and fishing vessels traveling between New York and Boston, making the lighthouse an important navigational aid in southern New England. Today, it remains a prominent landmark overlooking Block Island Sound.

This vintage-inspired Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse print celebrates one of Rhode Island's most distinctive offshore beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's granite structure, breakwater setting, and expansive coastal views. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, coastal travelers, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the enduring character of a beacon that has welcomed mariners to safe harbor for more than a century.
