About This Print

Nobska Light stands on a prominent bluff in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, overlooking the entrance to Vineyard Sound. First established in 1828, the current lighthouse dates to 1876 and has long guided vessels navigating the busy waters between Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. Positioned near one of the nation's leading centers for oceanographic research, the lighthouse commands sweeping views of the sound, nearby islands, and the ferries that regularly cross these historic waterways. Today, it remains one of Cape Cod's most recognizable maritime landmarks.

This vintage-inspired Nobska Light print celebrates one of New England's most iconic coastal beacons. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's elegant white tower, bluff-top setting, and expansive ocean views. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, Cape Cod travelers, maritime historians, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the enduring beauty and maritime character of a beacon that has guided mariners through Vineyard Sound for nearly two centuries.
