Ouachita National Forest

Ouachita National Forest spans more than 1.8 million acres across western Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma, protecting the ancient Ouachita Mountains, clear streams, hardwood forests, and expansive pine woodlands. Established in 1907, it is the oldest national forest in the South and preserves one of North America's oldest mountain ranges.
