About This Print

Staten Island Lighthouse, officially known as the Richmond County Range Light, stands atop Lighthouse Hill on Staten Island, New York. Completed in 1912, the lighthouse was built to serve as the rear range light for vessels navigating the approaches to New York Harbor and the Arthur Kill shipping channel. Rising above one of the highest natural points on New York Harbor, the tower helped guide commercial traffic through one of the busiest maritime gateways in the world. Today, it remains a distinctive landmark and an important reminder of Staten Island's maritime heritage.

This vintage-inspired Staten Island Lighthouse print celebrates one of New York Harbor's most unique navigational landmarks. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the lighthouse's prominent hilltop setting, historic architecture, and commanding views over the harbor region. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, New York travelers, and collectors of American landmarks, this piece captures the enduring character of a beacon that helped guide generations of vessels through the waters surrounding New York City.
