The Snave
The Snave rises to 14,121 feet in Alaska's Wrangell Mountains within Wrangell–Saint Elias National Park and Preserve. Located on the flanks of the Mount Blackburn massif, the peak stands amid a vast landscape of glaciers, icefields, and rugged alpine terrain shaped by volcanic activity and powerful geologic forces. Though overshadowed by some of Alaska's higher summits, The Snave occupies one of North America's most remote mountain environments, where extreme weather and expansive wilderness define the character of the region.
This vintage-inspired The Snave print celebrates the scale and isolation of Alaska's Wrangell Mountains through the bold design language of classic WPA-era travel posters. Towering glaciated slopes, sweeping icefields, and rugged alpine landscapes are rendered in a timeless style that captures the mountain's remote character and wilderness setting. Created for mountaineers, climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, and collectors of North America's great peaks, this piece honors the untamed landscapes and spirit of exploration found in one of Alaska's most spectacular mountain regions.
