About This Print

The Snave rises to 14,121 feet in Alaska's Wrangell Mountains within Wrangell–Saint Elias National Park and Preserve. Located on the flanks of the Mount Blackburn massif, the peak stands amid a vast landscape of glaciers, icefields, and rugged alpine terrain shaped by volcanic activity and powerful geologic forces. Though overshadowed by some of Alaska's higher summits, The Snave occupies one of North America's most remote mountain environments, where extreme weather and expansive wilderness define the character of the region.
