About This Print

Navesink Twin Lights stands atop the rocky headland of Thacher Island off the coast of Rockport, Massachusetts. First established in 1771, the station features two granite towers completed in 1861, making it one of the few twin lighthouse stations remaining in the United States. The paired lights were designed to help mariners distinguish Thacher Island from other coastal lights while navigating the busy shipping routes of Massachusetts Bay. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged shores of Cape Ann, Twin Lights remains one of New England's most distinctive maritime landmarks.

This vintage-inspired Navesink Twin Lights print celebrates one of America's most unique lighthouse stations. Drawing inspiration from the bold colors and simplified forms of WPA-era travel posters, the artwork highlights the twin granite towers, dramatic island setting, and sweeping ocean vistas. Designed for lighthouse enthusiasts, maritime historians, coastal travelers, and collectors of New England landmarks, this piece captures the enduring character of a beacon system that has guided mariners along the Massachusetts coast for more than 250 years.
